At God for Nations, we believe in the power of local communities to transform their own societies. Project Local is our initiative dedicated to empowering local missionaries in church-planting endeavors. Through Project Local, we come alongside indigenous leaders, providing them with the resources, training, and support they need to establish and grow churches within their communities effectively.
We recognize that local missionaries possess unique cultural insights, language skills, and relational connections essential for reaching their people with the Gospel. Our approach equips and empowers these missionaries to lead sustainable and culturally relevant church-planting efforts. We provide training in evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and practical skills for ministry.
Additionally, we offer strategic guidance, mentorship, and ongoing support to ensure the long-term success and impact of each church plant. By investing in local missionaries through Project Local, we are not only advancing the Kingdom of God but also fostering self-sustaining and vibrant Christian communities that continue to flourish long after our initial support.
Empowering the locals is an effective way of Church planting.
Ninety percent of the unreached reside in the most remote parts of India. Every few miles, the language and culture of the villages can drastically change, which poses an incredible challenge when attempting to share the gospel and plant churches.
However, we can effectively evangelize, plant house churches, and disciple the unreached communities by empowering and supporting the local pastors, evangelists, and missionaries who have already mastered the local language and culture.
